    Nielsen Makes Exec Leadership Changes

    Lewis promoted to global president; Fichuk named president, North America

    Nielsen has named John Lewis as its global president, and Karen Fichuk as president, North America, effective immediately.

    Prior to his appointment, Lewis served as president, Americas, in which he lead the company's Watch and Buy growth strategy in Latin America, and managed the performance and direction of Nielsen Buy in the U.S. and Canada.

    Before that, Lewis led Nielsen's North America Buy business from 2006-2013, and served as EVP, marketing, ACNielsen USA, from 1994-1999.

    A 20-year veteran with Nielsen, Fichuk most recently served as the North American commercial go-to-market leader, in which she introduced new service models to address client needs. She also led the company's North American retail business and served as global client leader for Kraft and Mondel─ôz.

    New York-based Nielsen is a global information and measurement company with leading market positions in marketing and consumer information, television and other media measurement, online intelligence and mobile measurement.
