The Dannon Co. and Stonyfield Organic have launched a new online platform, BetterWithYogurt.com, which features recipes and cooking tips designed to help at-home chefs incorporate yogurt into their everyday meals.
In support of the new website, the brand has enlisted celebrity chef Michael Symon to offer consumers a chance to win $25,000 and be named one of two "Everyday Chefs."
To enter, participants create a recipe with their favorite yogurt, give it a name, and submit it with a picture and their inspiration. Symon will select the top 10 finalists to be featured on the site, and Dannon fans will determine the two winners.
“BetterWithYogurt.com is different from other recipe sites because it is focused on cooking with one of the most versatile ingredients there is,” said Symon. “I’ve cooked with yogurt since I was a kid, and it’s such a delicious ingredient. This site shows the many ways we can use yogurt as an ingredient in a huge variety of different types of dishes.”
Dannon and Stonyfield are subsidiaries of Danone.
