H-E-B and the San Antonio Spurs are at it again, with another round of legendary television commercials featuring star players Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard, Patty Mills, Tony Parker and Spurs mascot The Coyote.
"The H-E-B Spurs commercials reflect the very unique partnership we have enjoyed with the Spurs for over 20 years," said Cory Basso, group VP for marketing and advertising at San Antonio-based H-E-B. "We have a unique ability to showcase each player's sense of humor in a way that fans may not see during a courtside or post-game interview. In just 15 seconds, we can give the fans a glimpse into the genuine personality of our hometown team."
The continued partnership between Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) and H-E-B provides fans and H-E-B customers with dozens of player appearances and fan appreciation events throughout the year. H-E-B and SS&E work closely on several community investment initiatives, including a recent basketball court renovation of the Young Women's Leadership Academy in conjunction with Silver and Black Give Back, the nonprofit partner of the SS&E family of teams.
H-E-B is the presenting sponsor for the San Antonio Spurs and the San Antonio Stars and also maintains a presence with the San Antonio Rampage and the Austin Spurs.
