Jim Beam Donates $100K to Help Military Families

Brand's effort is latest partnership with Operation Homefront

As the holidays kick into high gear, Jim Beam Bourbon is making the season brighter by donating $100,000 to Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization dedicated to military servicemen and their families.

The presentation took place today by Frederick Booker Noe III, seventh-generation Jim Beam master distiller, and his son, Freddie Noe IV, in a ceremony at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.

"Thanks to continued support from Jim Beam and other sponsors, this season we're providing 8,000 military families at 21 different active duty bases with a Holiday Meal kit, which includes everything they need for a holiday dinner," said Stacey Crooks, senior director of corporate relations for Operation Homefront.

The effort marks the latest of Jim Beam's donations to Operation Homefront, which includes an additional $2.5 million to the organization since 2008 through a variety of charitable programs.
