    Gorton's Seafood Supports Nutrition With 2015 Resolution Challenge

    Brand teams with SparkPeople.com online community

    In an effort to help consumers eat healthy in the new year, the Gorton's Seafood brand has launched the 30-Day Realistic Resolution Challenge through a partnership with SparkPeople.com, an online healthy-living community.

    Launched on Jan. 5, participants receive daily challenges, recipe ideas, shopping lists, nutritious eating tips and daily motivation to support their health and wellness.

    As an extra incentive, consumers can also visit Gortons.com to enter the brand's "Eat Smarter" sweepstakes for a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize, as well as additional daily prizes. The brand will also offer random giveaways to sweepstakes participants on Facebook through Feb. 9.

    "By partnering with SparkPeople to create the 30-Day Realistic Resolution Challenge, we can help people make real progress on healthy-eating goals," said Gavin Kennedy, director of consumer marketing at Gorton's.

    The challenge is free to join on SparkPeople.com or through the app available on iTunes or Google Play.
