    Mondelēz Names Oswalt President, U.S. Sales

    Will lead direct-store-delivery retail, customer headquarter activity

    Mondelēz International has named Valerie Oswalt president, U.S. Sales, effective April 1.

    Oswalt will lead direct-store-delivery retail and customer headquarter activities for the company's $6 billion snacks and confectionery businesses in the U.S., which includes brands like Oreo, Ritz, Stride, Wheat Thins and Honey Maid, among others.

    Having spent nearly two decades with the Deerfield, Ill.-based company, Oswalt was appointed VP, Sales, West Area in 2012, and before that served as customer VP for Business Development, supporting the Kraft Foods/Mondelēz spin-off. Before Mondelēz, Oswalt served as customer VP of Beverage and Grocery for Walmart.

    Oswalt also serves as the Mondelēz International Ambassador to the Network of Executive Women and is the Executive Advisor to the Mondelēz International Women’s Sales Council.
