    PG Parent Acquires B-to-B Brands from Canada's Fulcrum Media

    Includes events, pubs in convenience, foodservice, pharmacy industries

    Stagnito Business Information, parent company of Progressive Grocer and other brands, has acquired a series of media brands, conferences and tradeshows from Canada's Fulcrum Media.

    Among the recently purchased events are Pharmacy U, The Convenience U Carwacs Show, Le Salon Dépanneurs, épiceries & cie, and The Canadian Coffee & Tea Show.

    The acquired media brands include Convenience News (CN), Your Convenience Manager (YCM), Octane, Pharmacy Business (PB), and Your Foodservice Manager (YFM), along with French-language editions of CN, YCM, YFM and their affiliated websites. The exclusive distribution relationship of YCM, YFM and their French-language editions will continue to be managed through ITWAL Ltd. and its members.

    Foodservice is becoming increasingly integrated into the convenience store sector, grocery and other retail formats. The acquisition of these c-store events brings strategic information and resources to Stagnito’s growing base of constituents who have a vested interest in enhancing their foodservice operations, merchandising and marketing. 

    Likewise, drug store retailers access many of Stagnito Business Information’s assets. With the acquisition of the Pharmacy Business publication and website, and the Pharmacy U conferences, Stagnito has the ability to increase its presence in that growing retail space.
