    Sprouts Farmers Market Names Daniel Bruni CIO

    He comes to the Phoenix-based grocer from Dollar General

    Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. has named Daniel Bruni its new chief information officer, in which he'll manage the company's information technology efforts chain-wide.

    A 25-year industry veteran, Bruni comes to Phoenix-based Sprouts from Dollar General, where he served as VP of IT. He was previously SVP and CIO for Harris Teeter and VP and CIO for Brother Gourmet Coffees.

    “We’re excited to welcome Dan to the Sprouts team and our innovative, entrepreneurial culture,” said President/CEO Doug Sanders. “Dan’s leadership in a variety of information technology functions from retail systems to technology infrastructure will be extremely valuable as we continue to grow and innovate to better serve our guests.”

    Sprouts Farmers Market operates more than 190 stores in 11 states, and employs 17,000 associates.
