Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union has named Grillman's all-beef franks the team's official hot dog.
The partnership, which lasts through 2017, will include field signage and messaging in the team's PPL Park, displays on all menu boards where the product is sold, sponsored discount promotions, and retail promotions for fans. Grillman's will also act as presenting partner for dollar dog nights.
“Partnering with the Philadelphia Union is an exciting growth opportunity for the Grillman’s brand,” said Mark Frisch, partner. “Soccer’s popularity is skyrocketing in the United States, and we see this as an outstanding opportunity to position Grillman’s in front of an enthusiastic customer base."
Since its launch in late 2014, Jacksonville, Fla.-based Grillman’s has unveiled additional partnerships with the Detroit Pistons, the Florida State Seminoles and Jacksonville University Dolphins.
