Shop ‘n Save will serve as the first title sponsor of the 2015 Westmoreland County Airshow at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, slated for June 20-21.
The retailer will offer advanced tickets for sale beginning April 25 with proceeds benefitting the Troops First Foundation, a non-profit that provides assistance to military personnel who have been wounded while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The stores will also offer customers an opportunity to directly support the foundation by accepting $1 donations.
“The Shop 'n Save independent retailers are engrained in the community and dedicated to supporting causes they care about,” said Rich Haeflein, advertising account manager for Shop ‘n Save. “As a title sponsor of the Westmoreland County Airshow, Shop ‘n Save has the opportunity to support an exciting event that is important to their customers while simultaneously supporting a deserving cause, the Troops First Foundation.”
Presented by Xcoal Energy & Resources, the airshow will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, Geico Skytypers and the U.S. Army Parachute Team “Golden Knights.” During the event, Shop ‘n Save will sponsor a tent where attendees can win store gift cards totaling more than $1,800.
