    Hershey International President Humberto Alfonso to Retire

    Successor to be named by end of the month

    Humberto (Bert) P. Alfonso, president of The Hershey Co.'s International business, will retire by the end of June, at which time the company will name his successor.

    “Bert has led our International business for the last two years, laying the foundation for future growth in these important markets," said John P. Bilbrey, chairman, president/CEO, The Hershey Co. "Prior to his international leadership, Bert led our financial organization, instilling strong discipline and accountability across the organization. We are grateful for his years of leadership and service and wish him and his family all of the best."

    Continued Bilbrey, "As we look to the future, we have confidence that our business model positions Hershey for continued growth in both North America and key international markets."

    The Hershey Co. has more than 80 brands around the world, with annual revenues of more than $7.4 billion.
