Natural and organic online grocer Door to Door Organics has launched its second annual Shop Online for Groceries Month. The initiative was first introduced in August 2014 as a way to acknowledge loyal customers and boost awareness of the benefits of online grocery shopping.
"This campaign helped raise awareness about this innovative industry and how it's changing the way people shop for food," said Chad Arnold, CEO of Louisville, Colo.-based Door to Door Organics. "We are excited to make it an annual event and hope that it will continue to highlight the immense benefits of online grocery shopping."
In the areas where Door to Door Organics operates, Friday, Aug. 14 will be Shop Online for Groceries Day, on which customers are encouraged to seek out new recipes and foods while learning more about local farmers and food artisans. The e-grocer is also offering a sweepstakes on Facebook that existing customers and fans can enter daily through Aug. 16 for the chance to win $1,000 in free groceries. Additionally, all new customers will receive a discount code to save $10 on their first order.
