    Schnucks Marks Fourth Year of Support for Make-A-Wish

    Vendors, customers invaluable to annual fundraiser

    For the fourth year in a row, Schnucks Markets is teaming up with Make-A-Wish Missouri to help grant the wishes of area children battling life-threatening medical conditions.

    Throughout the month of September, when customers visit any Schnucks location and purchase any of the specially-stickered Make-A-Wish items, Schnucks and its 16 vendor sponsors will donate a percentage of sales to the local Make-A-Wish chapter to support the wishes of children.

    “Our September Make-A-Wish drive wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our customers and vendor partners who team up with us for this important cause,” said Derick Rosinsky, Schnucks specialty cheese category manager, who oversees the month-long campaign efforts.

    Since 2012, Schnucks, its customers and vendor partners have helped assist in granting wishes for eight area children in the Make-A-Wish foundation. Vendor sponsors for this year’s drive include:

    • Anheuser-Busch
    • Heartland Creamery
    • 34 Degrees
    • Crunchmaster
    • Sartori
    • Beemster
    • Queso de Casa
    • Heineken
    • Sonoma Jacks
    • Bel Brands
    • Culinaria Hummus

    Some of the products will feature special Make-A-Wish stickers in each Schnucks store’s deli/specialty cheese, dairy and grocery departments.

    Schnuck Markets operates 98 stores and 93 in-store pharmacies in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa.
