Asheville, N.C.-based Earth Fare is showcasing a unique selection of kids’ toys and one-of-a-kind fair trade gifts that aim to "truly reflect the spirit of the season…while giving back to communities around the world."
All Earth Fare stores are featuring age-appropriate gift items made with all-natural or recycled materials which benefit a variety of organizations, including Doctors without Borders, The Nature Conservancy, and Global Girlfriends, the latter of which helps and empowers women in need worldwide.
“Whether it’s a set of whimsical socks, a fashion pouch, or an eco-friendly toy, you’re sure to find that perfect something for someone on your gift-giving list,” said Karen Lewis, director of wellness for Earth Fare. “The fact that a portion of the profits goes to a deserving charity makes these gifts even more meaningful. It truly is a wonderful way to give – and to give back.”
Like its holiday food bank “Give Back” program, Earth Fare’s gift items continue the company’s commitment to the health of its customers and their communities. Further, the 40-store retailer is inviting shoppers to make a contribution at the register which benefits local charities in the 10 states where Earth Fare’s stores are located.
