Weis Markets has promoted John Grimes to VP of meat and seafood, and Dale Lubold has been named director of seafood.
In the newly created position, Grimes (pictured above) will oversee the merchandising and procurement of the Sunbury, Pa.-based company’s meat and seafood departments. He was previously director of meat and seafood. Earlier in his career, he served in meat and perishable merchandising positions at Price Chopper. He reports to Richard Gunn, SVP of merchandising and marketing.
Lubold, who worked as a seafood senior category manager prior to his promotion, will oversee the procurement and merchandising of Weis' seafood department. He will continue to report to Grimes.
Weis Markets operates163 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.
