    Roles encompass IT, communications

    Redner’s Markets Inc. has made the following appointments of three corporate staff members:

    Nicholas Hidalgo is now VP of information technology (IT), reporting to Richard Redner, CEO of Reading, Pa.-based Redner’s. In addition, Hidalgo has been appointed to Redner’s board of directors. In his new role, Hidalgo will provide direction regarding all Warehouse Market and Quick Shoppe technology processes. Hidalgo has held a number of roles since joining the company in 1996, beginning as a grocery stock clerk and rising through the ranks, most recently, to director of IT services.

    Eric Moody is now director of IT, reporting to Hidalgo. As director of IT, Moody will provide day-to-day support for Redner’s IT systems and supervise a team of regional support technicians. Moody has worked in positions with Redner’s since 1989, starting with various store/hourly positions and progressing to, most recently, POS systems/security manager

    Eric B. White is now director of marketing, reporting to Redner’s COO Ryan Redner. In his new role, White will manage corporate communications and the strategic development of all of the grocer’s business/loyalty marketing programs and new consumer strategies to increase sales and attract new customers. White has been Redner’s consumer communication specialist since 1999.

    An employee-owned company, Redner’s operates 44 grocery stores and 21 Quick Shoppes throughout eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
