MENLO PARK, Calif. -- AgriWorld Exchange, a live online agri-trading marketplace, was launched on Friday to enable buyers and sellers of fresh produce worldwide to securely connect and communicate online.
AgriWorld Exchange said it has “strong alliances” with industry players such as the Red Book, CAADES, Produce Marketing Association, Pymexporta, cProduce.com, United Fresh, AEA, ExpoAgro Sinaloa, and the United Agribusiness League.
For sellers, AgriWorld Exchange's online trading system links trading members to a worldwide network of qualified buyers, providing the tools to negotiate the best available price and sales terms.
"AgriWorld Exchange allows me to target customers around the world," said Jarrod Domingos, v.p. of sales and marketing for Sunsation Farms, a major supplier in California's Salinas Valley, in a statement. "It puts buyers and sellers on a platform that allows transactions to take place effortlessly."
