    Consumer site spotlights Natural Delights Medjool brand identity

    The top-selling brand of Medjool dates in the United States has rolled out a consumer website that reinforces its new Natural Delights identity. Supporting retailer and foodservice websites have also launched.

    Created by the small group of family farmers who comprise the Bard Valley Medjool Date Growers Association (BVMDGA), the new site, www.naturaldelights.com, aims to transform caramel-like Medjools from a holiday and special-occasion indulgence to an everyday treat. BVMDGA members supply more than 70 percent of the country’s Medjool date crop.

    Visitors to the site can learn about the history and nutritional benefits of Medjool dates, find out answers to frequently asked questions, take a virtual tour of the unique Bard Valley micro-climate in California, read about how the dates are grown and meet a real Medjool date grower.

    Other features include a constantly growing library of Medjool date appetizer, salad, side dish, entrée, dessert and drink recipes.

    Along with the new websites, the Natural Delights brand is being supported by a national comprehensive marketing campaign encompassing digital advertising, in-store promotion, social media and public relations. BVMDGA has also introduced a Natural Delights-dedicated Facebook page.

    Natural Delights Medjool Dates are available nationally at select Kroger, Albertsons, Costco and Sam’s Club locations, and seasonally at Walmart.
