Organic Creamery Celebrates Earth Day With Eco-friendly Bag Giveaway
To mark the 40th anniversary of Earth Day next month, DCI Cheese Co. (DCI) will debut a themed giveaway of eco-friendly canvas bags in support of Organic Creamery cheeses. In return for a completed redemption form and proof of purchase of three Organic Creamery products, consumers will get a free bag.
Shoppers will be able to pick up the forms at promotional displays in the specialty cheese section of participating retailers across the United States, from April 1 through May 31, 2010. Submissions will be accepted through June 4, 2010.
Additionally, the campaign will offer instant redeemable coupons on select Organic Creamery packages, including string cheese, 8-ounce bars and cups. Organic Creamery offers the most extensive line of certified organic cheese varieties in the United States, according to the brand.
“We wanted to make a unique contribution to the green movement by providing our Organic Creamery customers with a high-quality, eco-friendly token of our appreciation,” explained Dominique Delugeau, SVP of sales for Richfield, Wis.-based DCI. “We are very focused on greening our operations and wanted to give our customers a sustainable solution for taking our products from store to home.”
