As part of its entrenched commitment to independent grocers, Progressive Grocer annually recognizes excellence from among the ranks of innovative and successful independents, and the wholesalers that collaborate with them, with its Outstanding Independents Awards. Another exciting element of Progressive Grocer’s industry awards programs is the first-ever Commodity Board Retail Leadership Awards, which will recognize and honor the most innovative, effective and profitable merchandising and promotional campaigns and activities devised by food industry commodity boards to help retailers drive interest and sales of category-specific commodities.

Commodity boards from all sectors of the industry are encouraged to participate in the awards competition, which will recognize best-in-class achievements for retail campaigns/activities that have had a significant impact on increasing sales and volume of particular supermarket commodities/categories. Learn More

Progressive Grocer Green Grocers Awards Competition
Progressive Grocer's annual Green Grocers awards competition recognizes industry leaders that are dedicated to social responsibility through green initiatives. PG’s Green Grocers comprise a myriad of store formats and sizes -- from natural markets to multistore chains to regional independent grocers. 

PG also recognizes a new slate of industry leaders for our Green Grocers Hall of Fame, selections for which are based on consistent contributions to companywide eco-friendly practices. Learn More
