The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc. — which this month launched an online paperless and completely digital coupon service at its A&P, SuperFresh, Waldbaum’s, and The Food Emporium banners — has also rolled out the program at its Pathmark stores as an easy and eco-friendly way for shoppers to save more.
The grocer is working with Kansas City, Kan.-based digital promotions platform provider Zavers on the Online Advantage program.
“Not only will this make consumers’ lives easier, but it will also make their shopping more affordable,” said A&P SVP, marketing and communications Jennifer MacLeod. “This is especially important to us, as now more than ever we are working to help our customers through these challenging economic times. Digital coupons will allow our customers to not only save money, but time as well.”
Pathmark is part of Montvale, N.J.-based A&P, which operates 435 stores in eight states and the District of Columbia under the A&P, Waldbaum’s, Pathmark, Best Cellars, The Food Emporium, Super Foodmart, Super Fresh and Food Basics banners.
