    PepsiCo Opts for Customized ToolBox CatMan Solution

    Food division to use Advantage program as main reporting platform

    PepsiCo Foods and category management specialist ToolBox Solutions Inc. have launched the ToolBox Advantage program, which combines syndicated data and multiple retailer point-of-sale data in one reporting solution specifically configured to PepsiCo’s needs.

    PepsiCo’s decision to implement the solution was based on an extensive competitive analysis the Purchase, N.Y.-based company performed over the past few months, which took into account immediate ROI, knowledge and proven experience. Toronto-based ToolBox will oversee the complete integration and socialization of the program, ensuring easy transition and complete adoption.

    “We … value our 13-year ongoing relationship” with PepsiCo, which has now expanded to the company’s food division, said Mark Shepherd, ToolBox founder and co-owner.

    Introduced by ToolBox earlier this year, the Web-based reporting platform for category management professionals, executives and sales managers also integrates loyalty, shipment and ad tracking data, among others.
