PG Salutes 2010 Green Grocers, Inducts 10 Hall of Fame Honorees

A slate of diverse grocery retailers from around the country has earned Progressive Grocer’s 2010 Green Grocer Awards. In conjunction with the third year of saluting supermarket industry leaders that are blazing a green path for others to follow, PG has also named 10 charter members to its newly established Green Grocers Hall of Fame, in honor of their consistent contributions to take the industry’s eco-friendly commitment to the next level.

“It’s such a pleasure reviewing the submissions for this honor that pays tribute to the great strides the grocery industry is making to expand its sustainability portfolios as part of their increasingly important corporate social responsibility efforts,” said Michelle Moran, PG’s editor-in-chief.
