    Plackers’ Dental Flosser Turns 40

    Brand’s ‘Match and Win Game’ to award $40k grand prize

    The Plackers oral care brand is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its disposable flosser product line with the “Plackers 40th Anniversary Match and Win Game,” which will award a grand prize of $40,000.

    Through June 30, 2013, customers can enter by purchasing specially marked packages of Plackers flossers, including Micro Mint, Gentle Fine and Twin-Line, as well as the recently introduced GentleSlide.

    In addition to the grand prize, 10 first-prize winners will receive an Apple iPad, 50 second-prize winners will each receive an Apple iPod nano, and 500 third-prize winners will get a year’s supply of Plackers flossers.

    “Plackers has revolutionized oral care over the years with innovations that make it easier for people to protect their smiles and enjoy good oral health,” said Brett Huffman, marketing manager for Plackers, a brand of Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Ranir LLC. “Our Match and Win Game celebrates Plackers’ history of innovation beginning with the invention of the first disposable flosser and gives Plackers customers even more reasons to floss daily.”
