Price Chopper Appoints VP of Info Systems/CIO
Price Chopper Supermarkets/Golub Corp. has promoted Greg Zeh to the position of VP of information systems and CIO, reporting directly to SVP of finance and CFO John Endres.
In his new role, Zeh will provide technology leadership to develop and implement solutions to enhance the shopping experience for consumers and internal staff at the Schenectady, N.Y.-based chain.
Since coming to Price Chopper in 1997, Zeh has held many positions, the most recent being VP of information systems. He’s also an active member of the Westerlo, N.Y. volunteer fire company and is a Westerlo town councilman/deputy supervisor.
The Golub Corp. owns and operates 125 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The company employs over 25,000 associates, who collectively own 52 percent of its privately held stock.
