Price Chopper Rolls Out Online Floral Design and Ordering System

Price Chopper’s new exclusive Web site, www.MyFloralPlace.com, has made it even easier for customers to send a personalized message, for Valentine's Day or any other occasion. The new service enables users to set up an account online and customize deliveries to area recipients from any computer anywhere in the world.

"[The site] utilizes technology to create and cultivate a relationship between our shoppers and our expert floral design associates at Central Market Florists," noted Jon Strom, Price Chopper VP of Floral and Lifestyle Merchandising. "MyFloralPlace.com is accessible, easy to use and personalizes the experience of ordering and sending the perfect arrangement."

Created by Price Chopper, www.MyFloralPlace.com additionally allows users to store photographs of every order in their order history and personally select arrangements and recipients. Orders can be placed 24 hours a day and delivered the next business day to local residents and businesses.

As part of the site's introduction, every new member account will automatically be entered into a $2,500 sweepstakes giveaway. The sweepstakes is being promoted in the chain's circular, on www.pricechopper.com and in-store through signage and computer-generated reminders at checkout.

Central Market Florists at Price Chopper has grown to become one of the Northeast's largest florists, selling bouquets, arrangements, potted plants and accessories as well as customizing hundreds of weddings annually.

As one of the top 100 FTD members in the nation, Price Chopper also offers customers the opportunity to order and send flowers beyond the regional grocer's six-state locale.
