    Price Chopper Supermarkets to Enhance Cross-Channel Digital Marketing Strategy

    The grocer signed a multi-year contract with Mercatus for the initiative

    Price Chopper Supermarkets plans to enhance its cross-channel digital marketing strategy to improve its competitive advantage in the grocery segment, boost brand equity, and improve financial performance.
    The grocer is working on this initiative with Mercatus USA, a software development company that delivers cross-channel marketing capabilities to the retail industry.

    Price Chopper will leverage Mercatus’ Smart Shopping Technology to ensure that its highly customized digital marketing channels are built on a robust, flexible, and scalable platform. And since the solution is modular, the grocer will be able to add to the solution over time as the industry evolves.

    Schenectady, N.Y.-based Golub Corporation owns and operates 128 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
