Pricer, a provider of electronic shelf labels (ESL) for retailers, has launched its Price Poster solution, an electronic, poster-sized promotional display that can connect to any high-definition screen.
Designed by PricerLab, the company’s research and development division, the Price Poster has the ability to update in real-time in coordination with ESLs -- 500 times faster than when done manually.
“Price Poster allows retailers to access, update and review promotions within seconds from any computer in the world,” said Wyatt Alston, GM, Pricer. “This ensures successful promotions and eliminates discrepancies between what is advertised and what is in stock.”
According to Pricer, retailers can operate Price Poster in several modes including a four-item slideshow, or a detailed one or two column "list" mode. They can also create a set of templates that complement the design of its stores. Further, unsold stock can be minimized with easy price updates on seasonal or sale products.
