Sprouts Farmers Market Launches New Web Site

July 15, 2008

Sprouts Farmers Market said yesterday it has launched a new and revamped customer-focused Web site that features the grocer's weekly ads, health information, healthy recipes, and more.

Designed to provide customers with a better shopping experience through educational resources, the site now includes information on topics including natural remedies to help combat fatigue, ease allergy symptoms, manage menopausal symptoms with holistic methods, and improve digestion.

"Our customers tell us that our stores are fun to shop, and they enjoy the unique experience of finding great values on healthier foods," said Doug Sanders, s.v.p. and c.o.o. for Arizona-based Sprouts Farmers Market. "We wanted to convey that same concept with our new Web site design."

Resources on the new site also include in-depth information for each of Sprouts' food departments, health & wellness tips, foods in season, news & announcements, food origins, recipes, and career opportunities.

The site, located at www.sprouts.com, was designed by Tempe, Ariz. agency DW Green.

Sprouts Farmers Market said it plans to open seven locations in this summer and fall. The rollout includes new stores in Texas (Murphy, Richardson, McKinney), California (Tustin, Seal Beach), and the natural grocer's highly anticipated debut in Colorado (Westminster, Parker, Ft. Collins).
