Packing them in

March 31, 2008

TillamookOregon-based Tillamook County Creamery Association has become one of the first sliced-cheese providers to offer products in a consumer-friendly rigid pack featuring an easy-open lid, as well as improved slice separation that eliminates the need for paper between slices. The new packaging holds eight ounces of shingle slices in seven varieties, including, of course, that perennial staple cheddar. Additionally, all Tillamook cheese is made from milk free of the artificial growth hormone rBST. The suggested retail price for Tillamook cheese in the new packaging is $3.49 to $3.99.
