Bloom Names Leshko VP of Retail Ops

Nov 19, 2008

SALISBURY, N.C. - Food Lion-owned Bloom Supermarkets yesterday promoted Troy Leshko to v.p. of retail operations, overseeing the more than 60 Bloom stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia.

His responsibilities include developing retail strategies and leading company initiatives, merchandising, recruiting, people development and talent planning, quality assurance, profitability, and guest satisfaction, Food Lion said.

Leshko began his career with Food Lion in 1988 as a bagger, and served in several positions of increasing responsibility with the company, including store manager, district manager, project manager and, most recently, as Bloom's director of strategy and innovation.

Food Lion LLC is a subsidiary of Brussels-based Delhaize Group.
