Corn without GMOs
SEPTEMBER 30, 2009 --
SK Food International, based in Fargo, North Dakota, is now offering Identity Preserved Certified Organic and Conventional Non-GMO Crimson Red Corn. This hybrid red corn has two unique qualities – one of which is a colored alerone, which allows the corn’s red color to remain intact through processing. Its other special feature is the gametophyte gene, which prevents cross-contamination of other types or species of corn, including genetically modified corn. The Crimson Red Corn was the winner of this year’s “Best in Ingredient” category of the New Product Awards at the All Things Organic trade show. Available packaging sizes include 50-pound bags, bulk 2,000-pound totes, and bulk truckload. Visit www.skfood.com, or contact LeAnn Hovdenes at 1-701-356-4106 or skfood@skfood.com to learn more.
