New Schnucks to Feature Cooking School

SEPTEMBER 30, 2009 -- A new 74,000 sq. ft. Schnucks market to open in Des Peres, MO, September 15 will include the supermarket chain’s first cooking school.

Schnucks Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Scott Schnuck said the new Schnucks Cooks Cooking School has been in development for more than two years.

The store will also include a Kaldi’s coffee shop with WiFi connections, a new cheese room and wine display, a walk-in beer cave cooler, an aged beef cooler, a Schnucks demonstration station, two restaurant counter seating areas and a table-top kitchen house wares department.
