Purity Organic Delivers Social Media Holiday Contest

Week-long campaign aims to boost product usage

Purity Organic Juice and Produce has launched a week-long online contest, “A Purity.Organic Holiday,” hosted on its Facebook page.

Similar to previous online contests such as the Mango Fever launch contest in May 2011, the goal of this campaign is to introduce Purity Organic juice and fruit to potential consumers as well as reward current fans and customers for their support.

“Making the connection that Purity Organic Juice is brought to you by Purity Organic Produce is very important,” said Vanessa Christie, marketing and community manager. “We have been working with organic growers for almost 20 years, and are proud when we get to share that story with long-time fans and Purity Organic rookies alike.”

Two prize packs with a total value of over $150 will consist of seasonal and classic juices and fruit. The exact contents of the prize packs will be revealed each day on the Purity Organic Facebook fan page through links, photos and videos about the company’s juice and produce. The contest is also hosted on a dedicated microsite for non-Facebook users.

People can enter the contest once daily until the morning of Dec. 19, when two winners will be chosen randomly and announced at noon that day.

San Francisco-based Purity Organic Produce, formerly Pacific Organic Produce, is one of the largest suppliers of organic fruits to the United States and Canada, offering about two dozen fresh produce commodities including citrus, mangoes, apples, pears, pomegranates, stone fruit, fingerling potatoes, sweet peppers and avocados.
