RediClinic to Expand Services at HEB Store Locations
RediClinic LLC, an operator of retail-based convenient care clinics in the greater Houston and Austin, Texas areas, said this week that it would introduce five new services its 21 HEB locations, with more services to come later in the year.
The new services, which should roll out during the next 30 days, include steroid injections for allergy relief, Rocephin antibiotic treatment for common bacterial infections, B-12 shots for an energy boost, mononucleosis testing and acne treatment. The walk-in clinics already offer such popular seasonal services as pre-sports and camp physicals, and travel immunizations and medical consultations for those planning business trips or vacations abroad.
"RediClinic will continue to provide its unique brand of convenient and affordable healthcare seven days a week and on a year-round basis," noted RediClinic CEO Web Golinkin.
Competitor MinuteClinic said last week that around 90 of its clinics in CVS stores would operate on a seasonal schedule starting in the spring, and would reopen in response to heavy consumer demand, as during flu season.
