READING, Pa. -- With stores already opened in Elkton and Joppatowne, Md., and a unit in Chestertown, Md. on the drawing board, Redner's Warehouse Markets here said it is now gearing up for another new location in Bel Air, set to open in the summer of 2008.

The 52,000-square-foot Bel Air Redner’s will be located in the Hickory Village Shopping Center. Renovations to the exiting building are slated to begin immediately and to be conducted entirely by Redner’s Markets. The building was erected in 1999 by another grocery retailer but never occupied.

The new Warehouse Market Bel Air will be a full service grocery store with an in-store bakery, full-service deli, produce and meat departments, frozen, dairy, health and beauty aids/non-foods, pharmacy, and grocery departments. The store will be the first of Redner’s to have a full-service seafood department.

The employee-owned Redner’s operates 39 Warehouse Markets and 12 Quick Shoppes throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.
