A&P Names S.V.P., Marketing & Communications
MONTVALE, N.J. -- The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc. here said Friday that Jennifer MacLeod had been appointed to the new position of s.v.p., marketing & communications. She reports directly to president and c.e.o. Eric Claus and is a member of the company's senior Executive Management Team.
MacLeod comes to A&P from Co-op Atlantic, a Canadian food and general merchandise operator, where she most recently served as v.p. of marketing and public relations.
Noted Claus in a statement: "Having worked with [MacLeod] previously, I know that her skills and experience in leading our marketing and communication efforts will be a tremendous asset to A&P going forward."
A&P operates 417 stores in 10 states under the A&P, Waldbaum's, The Food Emporium, Super Foodmart, SuperFresh, Farmer Jack, Sav-A-Center, and Food Basics banners.
