Buehler's Unveils New Concept Store in Canton, OH

WOOSTER, Ohio - Buehler's Food Markets here held a soft opening for a new 90,000-square-foot supermarket in Jackson Township in Canton that it said offers lifestyle solutions aimed at making food shopping more convenient, educational, and entertaining.

The new store aims to tailor its assortment to the busy lives people live, said Mary McMillen, Buehler's consumer affairs director, in local reports. "It's 5 o'clock, you have three kids in the car just coming home from all the various practices and you have no idea what to do for dinner," McMillen said. "You can swing by OvenWorks and get toasted sandwiches or pizza for the kids, our Main Street Grille for a salad for yourself, and the deli to get a Dinner for You entree for your husband who is working late."

The new store features a full-service restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a coffee bar, a "kidzpark" offering free childcare, and a "load-and-go" parcel pick-up lane that uses a conveyor system to bring groceries to a covered drive-through loading area, Buehler's said.

The store also will have an Ace hardware, a drive-through pharmacy, a community room, and several self-checkout lanes.
