Buehler's Unveils Plans For New Jackson Township Store

WOOSTER, Ohio -- Buehler Food Markets, Inc. will build a new supermarket in Jackson Township, Ohio, at the corner of Fulton and Wales Road.

The store will be the company's first in Stark County. "Buehler's feels fortunate to be entering into a partnership with such an active, thriving region as Jackson Township, and we look forward to the privilege of serving the members of this fine community," said Scott Buehler, v.p. of real estate and store development. "We expect to break ground in Spring 2006, with projected completion before the holidays."

In addition to traditional groceries, the new location will include a full-service restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a coffee bar, Kidzpark (on-site childcare), an ACE hardware store, a pharmacy with drive-up window, a community room, "load and go" parcel pick-up lane, and convenient self-checkout lanes.

The new concept store will be 90,000-sq.-ft. and will serve as the anchor tenant in DeHoff Development's Marketplace at Nobles Pond. In addition to Buehler's, the center will include approximately 50,000 square foot of in-line retail and seven out-lot pads.

Speaking about the new store's design, Scott Buehler said, "Our new supermarket will include all the amenities that our customers have always appreciated. But this location will offer lifestyle solutions, making food shopping more convenient, educational, and entertaining. We will create an environment that celebrates food and elevates the food shopping experience to a whole new level. Our goal is to create a supermarket that complements the life style of the citizens of Jackson Township and surrounding area."

Buehler's is a family-owned chain of eleven stores, headquartered in Wooster, Ohio.
