Busch's Supermarkets Partners with Beeline Shopper

ANN ARBOR, Mich. and TROY, Ohio - Busch's Supermarkets, a grocery chain in south-central Michigan, has announced a partnership with Beeline Shopper, a kitchen-based grocery scanner and web service. Busch's will offer the Beeline Shopper online service, which, by using a small handheld barcode scanner, creates and organizes grocery lists and special promotions.

Beeline Shopper's Personal Shopping Advisor puts all specials from the Busch's circular, plus hundreds of unadvertised weekly specials in one place online. Busy families can use the service to search for specific products and add items to their grocery list with just one click.

"We need to keep developing innovative ways to insure guests have the best shopping experience possible. With the Beeline Personal Shopping Advisor, busy families can use technology to help them eat right and manage their health goals -- from diabetes to weight loss. With advertised and unadvertised savings viewable online, busy families don't miss a chance to save money," said John Busch, president of Busch's Supermarkets.

Using a small handheld scanner, Beeline Shopper families can scan bar codes on food items, connect the scanner to their home computer and immediately compile a grocery list online. These items are stored for easy future reference. Families can also find out about weekly specials, money-saving recipes and dietary alternatives based on their personalized preferences and previous buying habits. Consumers can then print a shopping list, sorted by aisle.

Busch's Supermarkets is a family owned and operated supermarket chain serving Ann Arbor and South-Central Michigan with 12 stores.
