Del Monte Fresh Makes 4 Key Appointments

CORAL GABLES, Fl. -- Del Monte Fresh Produce here made four key appointments to its North American organization.

Alan Guttmann, formerly v.p. of sales for the southeastern region, will take on the role of v.p., product management N.A. (melon, onion and frozen); Mario Cardenas, formerly v.p., melon program N.A., will take on the role of v.p., product management N.A. (tomato and vegetable program); Daniel Klausner, formerly director of sales for the southeastern region, will assume the v.p. of sales role for the same region and; Dionysios (Dennis) Christou, formerly v.p. of corporate marketing, will assume the v.p. of North American marketing duties. Christou will continue to coordinate Del Monte's international marketing activities to ensure that there is alignment with its corporate policies and marketing guidelines.
