Dole Reorganizes NA Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Sales and Marketing Teams
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. -- Dole Food Co., Inc., said yesterday that the sales and marketing teams for both Dole North America Fresh Fruit and Dole Fresh Vegetables will now be organized under Michael Cavallero, president, Dole Fresh Fruit Co. This new structure is designed to better align Dole to meet customer needs in the marketplace.
Eric Schwartz will continue in his role as president of Dole Fresh Vegetables. He will continue to lead the company's efforts in sourcing, operations, and production of both the commodity and value-added vegetable businesses worldwide.
"We are making this change to meet market requirements and strengthen our leadership position in the industry," said Richard Dahl, president and c.o.o., in a statement. "Our new organization builds on the close relationship between these two business units and provides us with enhanced strength and capabilities to work even closer with our valued retail and foodservice customers. Both Mike and Eric are valuable members of the Dole senior management team, and their new roles will better focus the company for the future."
