FreshLook, Cal. Tree Fruit Renew Alliance

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill -- FreshLook Marketing Group, a perishables marketing research information service provider, and the Reedley, Calif.-based California Tree Fruit Agreement (CTFA) have renewed their contract. As such, CTFA will continue to rely on FreshLook to provide detailed distribution, sales, and pricing information on fresh peaches, plums, and nectarines.

Sheri Mireau, v.p. of marketing for CTFA, said: "We've been working with FreshLook for the past year, and have decided to extend that relationship for another two years. The quality and usefulness of the information and the responsiveness of their people have allowed us to develop a solid working partnership with FreshLook and provide our retail clients with relevant scanner sales information."

FreshLook provides CTFA with regular Internet delivery of data on the distribution, sales, and pricing of fresh peaches, plums, nectarines, and other crops. In addition to the total United States, the data are broken down into seven broad geographic regions, as well as retailer-specific reporting for over 100 accounts.

"We greatly appreciate this continued show of confidence from the CTFA," said Mark Degner, FreshLook's president. "We look forward to providing them with timely and accurate marketing data and a high level of service in the coming years."

The CTFA represents over 2,000 individual growers of fresh California peaches, plums, and nectarines. On behalf of the growers, CTFA conducts research, administrative, and marketing programs to promote a mandatory inspection program and sales of the fruit in the United States and abroad.
