Loblaw Banners Introduce Exclusive Clothing Line

BRAMPTON, Ont. -- Joe Fresh Style, a woman's and men's value clothing line by Canadian designer Joseph Mimran, is now exclusively available at 40 select Real Canadian and Atlantic Superstores across Canada. The country's largest supermarket operator and wholesale food distributor, Loblaw Cos., Ltd., owns both banners.

Noted Louise Drouin, Loblaw s.v.p., hard & soft lines, in a statement, "We understand our customers lead busy and budget-conscious lives, and are committed to providing them with the convenience of a one-stop shop for all their daily needs."

"Our goal with Joe Fresh Style was to create a line of clothing that is accessible and affordable to Canadians," added Mimran. "The level of style, quality, and fit is extremely high and complemented by outstanding value, with all items retailing for less than $40 and the average item priced at just $13."

The select superstore locations feature a Joe Fresh Style department with up to 10,000 square feet of custom displays of clothing and accessories, in addition to wide aisles, clearly marked sizes and prices, and fitting rooms with space to accommodate a shopping cart or stroller. Trained associates are on hand to assist customers, and shoppers can opt to check out at a cash register within the Joe Fresh Style department.

New items will be introduced every four weeks and larger inventory refreshers every eight weeks, according to Loblaw, one of the biggest private-sector employers in Canada, with more than 135,000 full-time and part-time employees.
