PepsiCo Inc. Announces Management Changes Following Creation of New Division

NEW YORK - PepsiCo Inc. today announced several management changes that follow the creation earlier this week of a new division combining Pepsi-Cola, Gatorade, Tropicana and Quaker Foods in the U.S. and Canada, The Associated Press reports.

The company named Dawn Hudson, 44, as president of Pepsi-Cola North America. She had been most recently senior vice president, strategy and marketing for PepsiCo North America.

Jim Dwyer, 43, has been appointed president of Tropicana North America. He had been senior vice president of merger integration at PepsiCo.

Dwyer succeeds Brock Leach, who will now lead new special development projects at PepsiCo and report to chairman and CEO Steve Reinemund.

The company also said that Al Carey, 50, has been named chief operating officer of PepsiCo Beverages and Foods North America, with the sales teams for Quaker, Tropicana and PepsiCo North America reporting to him.

"We're bringing together some of PepsiCo's and Quaker's most capable and accomplished executives," said Gary Rodkin, who on Tuesday was named president and CEO of the newly created division called PepsiCo Beverages and Foods North America. Rodkin had been president and CEO of Pepsi-Cola North America.
