Pettie To Lead ConAgra Foods' Dairy Division

OMAHA, Neb. -- Mark Pettie has joined ConAgra Foods Inc. here as its new dairy division president.

Pettie, 49, based in Naperville, Ill., brings a wealth of experience in the packaged foods industry to ConAgra Foods. Prior to his appointment, he spent 22 years with Kraft Foods/General Foods, where he most recently was e.v.p./g.m. of Kraft Foods' $1.2 billion coffee division.

Pettie held several other leadership roles with Kraft Foods, including: e.v.p./g.m., enhancers division; v.p., category sales management and strategy, Kraft Sales; and v.p./g.m., Pollio Italian Cheese.

"Mark's extensive leadership experience in the packaged foods industry will be an asset to our dairy business and all of ConAgra Foods," said Dean Hollis, e.v.p., retail products. "I'm confident Mark will drive growth across our dairy portfolio by taking our already popular brands, such as Reddi-wip, Egg Beaters, Parkay and Fleischmann's, to the next level with both our customers and consumers."

Pettie earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton and holds an MBA from Cornell University.

As one of North America's largest packaged food companies, ConAgra Foods serves consumer grocery retailers, as well as restaurants and other foodservice establishments.
