WOBURN, Mass. - Whole Foods Market c.e.o. John Mackey and other leaders from government and industry have been confirmed to speak at the 2005 World Health Care Congress, which will take place in Washington, D.C. Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, 2005.
The World Health Care Congress is a forum geared toward achieving an affordable, accountable health care system in the United States. Sponsored by the Wall Street Journal and CNBC, the conference will bring together more than 1,500 c.e.o.'s, senior executives, and government officials from the nation's largest employers, hospitals, health systems, health plans, and pharmaceutical and biotech companies, with the goal of creating a new health care model based on value, quality, accountability, and consumer choice.
