Located at 340 River Street (just off Memorial Drive), the state-of-the-art natural foods supermarket is the company's largest in Massachusetts and features its trademark food, free of artificial additives, sweeteners, colorings and preservatives. The 44,000-square-foot store is housed in a new facility designed and built specifically for Bread & Circus Whole Foods Market.

The new store will feature one of the largest selections of cheeses in New England, famous Blue Ribbon Barbeque, fresh seafood from Whole Food Market's own Pigeon Cove fishery, a wide variety of fine wines and the freestanding Putnam Cafe serving natural and organic coffees, teas and baked goods. In addition, shoppers will find locally grown produce, selections of all natural meats, prepared foods, breads, pastries, salad bar, sushi bar and a complete range of nutrition and body care products.

"Our company has a reputation for not only the best food and outstanding service, but also a long-standing commitment of supporting local communities,"said Aimee Morgida, Whole Foods Market regional vice president. "We are delighted to be in our new location and look forward to working with residents of Cambridge."
