Mollie Stone's to Open Remodeled Store This Month

MILL VALLEY, Calif. -- Local independent chain Mollie Stone's plans to open its eighth store in the Twin Peaks neighborhood of San Francisco April 26.

"Mollie Stone's Tower Market has been extensively remodeled and we are excited to host a grand opening to show the community what the new store looks like," said David Bennett, co-owner. "The deli, bakery, cheese, and sushi departments have all been expanded. The produce department has also been expanded with the addition
of more organic produce."

The new store will incorporate learnings from existing ones by remodeling departments in need of updating, while keeping the successful meat and wine departments intact. "The look of the store may be different, but the heart of this neighborhood market remains the same, as most of the original employees have remained with us," said Bennet. "We are confident our customers will be pleased with the results."

Mollie Stone's began in the natural foods and organic food business in 1985. Along with organic and natural food, Mollie's carries a complete selection of products, from national brand groceries, dairy, deli and frozen food, to natural beef and organic produce. Mollie Stone's is known for the quality of its perishable departments.

In addition to the Tower Market store, Mollie Stone's also has stores in Sausalito, Greenbrae, San Francisco (Pacific Heights), San Bruno, Burlingame, San Mateo, and Palo Alto.
