Schnucks Natural Store Brand Offerings Expand with New Line

ST. LOUIS - As consumer demand for all natural and organic food further intensifies, Schnuck Markets here has stepped up its offering of such products with a new signature line of 120 all-natural and organic products in the grocery, dairy, and frozen foods departments.

The line, called Full Circle, includes cereals, milk, pastas, pasta sauces, peanut butter, fruit preserves, canned vegetables, rice, soymilk, coffee, and teas. Company officials said it's a business that the family chain hopes to expand in the future.

"While full of flavor and nutrients, the Full Circle natural and organic products are free from additives and residual chemicals that take away from the natural goodness of products," said Lori Caster, Schnucks' grocery, dairy, and frozen foods group v.p. "In addition, these products cost less than comparable specialty brands found at health food stores. While less expensive, the Full Circle products adhere to the same standards set for the natural and organic food industry."

The Full Circle line was developed by Skokie, Ill.-based Topco.

Schnuck Markets, Inc. operates 101 stores (including five Logli stores) and 98 pharmacies in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Mississippi and Iowa.
